Project Overview
This project highlights my coverage of the University at Albany men’s basketball team’s statement victory over Vermont in America East play. The assignment focused on delivering timely, engaging digital content that blended in-game storytelling, postgame analysis, and strong visual media to capture the energy of a pivotal conference matchup.
The piece was published as a long-form game recap and supported by photography and live coverage elements, aimed at informing fans while documenting the significance of the win within the broader season narrative.

🔹 Creative & Editorial Focus
The goal of this piece was to go beyond the final score and contextualize the win as a turning point for UAlbany’s season. Emphasis was placed on momentum swings, defensive execution, and coaching adjustments, while visuals were used to reinforce the emotion and pace of the game.
This project reflects my approach to sports media coverage: combining strong narrative structure with compelling visuals to tell a complete story.
